FreeState specializes in the custom manufacture of hand crafted, wood countertops, which have become the attractive alternative to the cold, common stone. In addition to butcher blocks, bar tops, vanities, or islands, we also create custom mosaics, detailed inlays, roughly sawn edging - anything you can imagine.

Great care and consideration in the selection of materials are evident in every top we produce. Distinctive grain, color variation, and character marks only add to wood's unique appearance. Using thick slabs of the appropriate hardwood expands your design options dramatically.

Our showroom is an excellent design resource for homeowner’s and designers. Here are a few tips to help ensure a successful project

• Bring samples of other materials being used in the project (cabinet doors, flooring, etc.)
• Accurate measurements and templates make for precise estimates
• Allow 4 – 6 weeks (on average) for your custom top
• We offer three different finishing options – know how you will use your top to help us decide which is best for you.
